Beauty from ashes…what a marvelous thought. And that’s exactly what God does with us. He takes our brokenness, our heap of ashes, and He makes something beautiful from it, when we choose to give it to Him.
This is by no means a new song, and perhaps many of you know it. We sing it in my church often. Still, I pray that in light of the above verses, your heart will be encouraged by the words. Be comforted in knowing that God does make beautiful things out of dust, out of ashes, out of our ruins, and in doing so, He is glorified and we are blessed.
