We Exalt Your Name

This is a very exciting week for me. The anticipation for this coming weekend continues to grow in my heart with each passing day. My mind and my emotions have been consumed with what is to come this weekend. And it’s been a long time coming. This weekend, I will head up to the mountains for the Real Life Women’s Retreat, and I’m beyond honored to be teaching the women in attendance from my new Bible study, Found On My Knees. Months of planning and preparation along with hours spent in prayer have gone into these 2 ½ days that are now just a few short days away. I’ve found myself eagerly seeking the Lord and desiring His will to unfold in the lives of each woman that will attend. I’ve asked that He do a new work in my own heart and use me to minister to His church. I’ve spent hours in worship, preparing my heart for His glory that will be revealed.

“God, we want to see you. We want to know more of who you are. Show yourself to us this weekend! Open up the heavens!”

One worship song in particular that I cannot stop singing and worshiping to is from Kari Jobe’s newest CD. The song is titled “We Exalt Your Name”. I just want to share the words with you, and I encourage you to get this song and add it to your worship playlist ASAP. It will usher you into the presence of the Lord. It will bring you to your knees in pursuit of the Savior. Join me in worshiping our matchless King. Join me in prayer as well as the final preparations are made for this weekend’s retreat.
