I’m not sure if you know them. I don’t know if you are aware of how invested they are in each of you. I have no idea if you’ve ever thought that strangers could love and pray for you so much. But they do.
Today, I would like to introduce you to my prayer team – a group of women who have embraced the ministry of Neue Thing through prayer. For nearly two years now, they have been found on their knees at the feet of Jesus for you. They daily shoulder the weight of intercession for every woman that the ministry of Neue Thing might ever impact, and they love what they do. They are prayer warriors, and they boldly go before the throne with confidence on your behalf…and you might have never known.
These women are a gift that I hardly deserve but am tremendously grateful for. They pray for you, and they won’t stop. Each one of them has a love for Jesus that nearly overwhelms me when I’m in their presence, and today was one such moment. It’s a rare occasion that we are all in the same place at the same time. What a joy it was! I was freshly reminded today of what a blessing they are to me, and I want you to know that even though you may never meet them or know them personally on this side of heaven, they consider it an honor to pray for you.
They would never seek recognition for what they do, so know that it is I who wants to honor them today as I introduce them to you. When all else seems to fail, it is encouraging to know that someone, somewhere is praying for you. These women are. I’m counting my blessings today as I practice thanksgiving, and they are towards the top of my list.
