“You have kept count of my tossings; put my tears in your bottle. Are they not in your book?” Psalm 56:8 (ESV)
Today, I find rest in the fact that not one hardship ever enters my life without first going through the hands of my loving Father. There is purpose in the pain.
Today, I find hope in knowing that not one trial is in vain. There is purpose in the pain.
Today, I find peace in the assurance that not one tear that rolls down my cheek is ever missed by my God. There is purpose in the pain.
And tomorrow, I will find the same…rest, hope, and peace. I don’t need to understand why, but I will choose to trust in the One who holds my tears. Because His love endures forever. His faithfulness continues throughout all generations. His steadfast love never fails. His mercies are new every morning.
And when tomorrow tempts me to despair and threatens me to fear, I will remember the One who holds my tears. He is greater. He is stronger. He is higher. He is healer. He is Redeemer.
Today, you can find rest in His embrace. He is your refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble.
Today, you can find hope in His Word. His promises are true, and His Word is life.
Today, you can find peace in His presence. He draws near to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
And tomorrow, you still have access to rest, hope, and peace…in Christ alone. Your circumstance may not change, but remember, neither will your God. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
And when tomorrow tempts you to despair and threatens you to fear, remember the One who holds your tears. He has not forgotten you. He has not abandoned you. And He never will.

A word I definitely needed to hear today!
My circumstances will never change the character of God… even when my feelings try hard to convince me that my circumstances do change Him.
When you wake up feeling defeated in the pit, enemy pushing hard to crush you, sometimes you need reminded that God is near and He will not let hard stuff in life harm you. None of this is in vain!
Thank you for sharing what was on your heart!
