There is no one greater.

“There is no one holy like the Lord; there is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God.” 1 Samuel 2:2

Great need calls for a great God. Do you believe that He is able? That is the question that I pose to you today. I don’t doubt that great need is present in your life. I’m fairly certain that you are probably facing difficulty of some kind. Do you believe that God is able to meet your need? Do you believe that there is no one like the Lord? Do you believe that there is no one and no thing that stands greater than our God?

I, too, am facing great need in my life. Circumstances are out of my ability to control them, and sometimes the pain is insurmountable. But our God is greater. He is stronger than the power of my circumstance. He is stronger than the defeat you feel you are facing today. He is able, my friends, to deliver, to heal, to make new, to strengthen, and to lift you up. I encourage you to believe it today. Stand on the truth of His Word. He is the Rock, our God that will not be shaken. He will not be moved. Though circumstances may shake the foundation that we stand on and bring us to our knees, God is greater than our strongest foe. He is mighty to save.

If you opened your eyes this morning to another day filled with hopelessness, hear this word today:

There is no one greater than our God.

He is greater than the fallout in your marriage. He is greater than your wayward child. He is greater than your financial strain. He is greater than your maddening depression. He is greater than your anxiety and overwhelming stress. He is greater than your unrelenting pain. He is greater than your hopelessness. There is no one greater. He stands alone. If in nothing else, find hope in this today. He is greater, and He fights for you. He stands beside you. He walks hand in hand with you. There is no one greater than our God.
