Hey friends,
This is just a quick little note from me. Over the past five years, I have absolutely delighted in the opportunities you’ve given me to pray for you, and whether or not you’ve ever submitted prayer requests, I’ve counted it a privilege to lift you up in prayer. Why? Because prayer is powerful. Because prayer changes things.
So, I’m coming to you now asking that you would pray for me. I’ve been given an awesome opportunity to teach a Bible study to about 50 Junior High and High School students tonight. First of all, how awesome is it that this many students are getting together every Wednesday night to study God’s Word together? This group of students has spent the last few months studying the Sermon on the Mount found in Matthew 5-7. Tonight is the final night, and I will finish off this study with my teaching on Matthew 7:13-29.
This is a TOUGH passage, not the kind that necessarily goes down easy, if you know what I mean. But, it’s truth, and I am believing God for incredible things tonight. His Word is true, no matter how difficult it might be for us to understand or embrace. His Word is life, and I desperately desire for these students to grasp this fully tonight.
Would you join me in praying for the students of Central Christian Church tonight as I bring them the Word? Would you pray that God’s voice would be the loudest voice in their lives? Would you pray that my words would be God’s words, and that their faith in Him would grow exponentially tonight?
God is able. I’m believing Him to do what only He can do. Thank you for joining me!
