I let go of all I have just to have all of you,
And no matter what the cost, I will follow you.
Jesus, everything I’ve lost I have found in you.
When I finally reach the end I’ll say, “You are worth it all.”
It is truly a rare and blessed occasion to be led in worship by someone so anointed and gifted as Meredith Andrews. I’ve had the pleasure and privilege of knowing Meredith for the past several years, and throughout this time I have been incredibly blessed by her gift of song to the world. She has written and recorded some of my favorite Christian songs, and certainly many of them have led me to the throne room of God again and again. Her most recent single “Not For A Moment” reminds us of God’s faithful and constant presence and His loving pursuit of us throughout the uncertainties of life, and that we are never left alone, not even for a moment.
I’m thrilled to share with you her newest album, set to release next Tuesday, January 22, 2013. This album is filled with passionate worship and praise to our awesome God, serving as a timely reminder for us all to continue to trust in His love for us. “Worth It All” begins with the increasingly popular worship song “Open Up The Heavens” with a plea for the God of all creation to ascend down with His presence and show us His glory. I can hardly get through the song without tears of thanksgiving as I’m continually awed before a Holy God who delights in our praise. The album’s title and song “Worth It All” declares the truth that no matter what we face in this life, when we finally stand before our Creator, face to face, our only response to all the trial, heartache, and pain will simply be, “Jesus, you were worth it all.”
I am confident that you will be blessed by this offering of praise. Meredith has poured her life into leading God’s people in worship, and this new album is nothing short of her greatest gift to the church. I encourage you to buy it! You can still pre-order your own copy on her website, meredithandrews.com. If you’re not convinced yet, take the next few minutes and hear from her personally. In the short video below, Meredith shares with us how “Worth It All” came to be, and you’ll have the privilege of hearing her sing so beautifully, “Jesus, you are worth it all!”
